Begin your scenic drive to Sittong, known as the "Orange Village" for its lush orange orchards and serene landscapes. After breakfast, check out from your Sittong homestay and head towards Darjeeling. On the way, visit Taldah for panoramic views of the valleys and capture some stunning photographs. Continue to Tinchuley, an eco-friendly village with lush tea gardens and spectacular Himalayan views. Arrive in Darjeeling, check-in at your hotel, and spend the evening strolling down Mall Road and visiting local markets. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Start your day early with a drive to Tiger Hill to catch the mesmerizing sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga. Visit the Batasia Loop for its garden and war memorial, followed by a trip to the Ghoom Monastery, famous for its ancient Tibetan scriptures. Return to the hotel for breakfast and continue sightseeing at the Rock Garden, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, and, if time permits, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to NJP. En route, stop at the Gopal Dhara Tea Estate to learn about tea production. Visit Mirik for its serene Sumendu Lake, ideal for a lakeside walk or boating. End with a visit to the Pashupati Market near the Indo-Nepal border, known for its imported goods and handicrafts.
